I was going through some old files looking for something else, when I stumbled across the touching, powerful statement that bears the title we see here. It comes from a newsletter of Sheila M. Reynolds, a name I don’t recognize. I do recognize the name of the author of the “Confessions,” Brian Mahoney. My recollection is that Mahoney got in touch with me after hearing me recite political poetry on the Jaz McKay radio show from the 50,000-watt station in Cleveland WWWE.
